Honestly, I’m barely a fan of history. In fact, I often dozed off in history classes at school, but the Jurassic Period has always fascinated me.

Well, my interest in this specific period comes from one of the highest gossiping blockbusters, Jurassic Park. I still remember I first watched the film years ago. I was so amazed by the scene in the movie: a safari amusement park of dense jungles, high mountains, wild rivers, and various genetically engineered dinosaurs.

It’s so big a myth why dinosaurs go extinct that I was eager to find out more. For this, I watched a couple of documentaries, science research and discoveries. I even went to a dinosaur museum in Zigong, a small town just a few hour’s train from where I live. As I strolled into the museum, I was taken aback by the sheer volume of dinosaur fossils and life-like exhibits.

As we speak, if there were a time machine, I would want to travel back to that era. I know it might be chancy coz dinosaurs are by no means mild creatures. Anyway, I still want to go back to when they roamed leisurely on Earth to see how they feed, breed and live.

I have to say it’s a pity that we totally lose sight of dinosaurs. Though fossils could lend us a hand in learning more about them, it’s just the tip of the。
