Taking part in activities like games and learning from books help children develop broader interests. It is a key stage for children to take advantage of their natural curiosity and explore their potential at this early age.

Playing and studying with their peers gives children the chance to build relationships with others alike. It promotes their social ability as well as experience that will benefit them later in schools, while doing chores at home cannot.
Admittedly, housework provokes independence, which is essential for children’s growth. However, it’s never too late to learn how to do house chores.

Helping with the housework exercises children’s essential survival skills at an early age. This also helps them realize their responsibility at home and in the society more efficiently. Though playing simple games or learning from books may carry the same effect, they certainly do this more gradually.

Taking some load off parents’ shoulders benefits the family tie. With children behaving and helping out at home, moms and dads will feel easier and worry less than when children play all day. What’s more, through teaching and learning, family spend more quality time together and create deeper bond.
