環(huán)境類話題在托福獨(dú)立寫作中與教育類話題比起來，確實(shí)屬于小眾話題，于是很多同學(xué)在遇到環(huán)境類題目的時(shí)候，就不知所措。但其實(shí)，托福獨(dú)立寫作中涉及環(huán)境類話題的題目，大多主要圍繞環(huán)境與健康、環(huán)境與能源、環(huán)境與經(jīng)濟(jì)。最多結(jié)合一下政府這個(gè)主體提問，在觀點(diǎn)展開時(shí)可以選取的素材也相近。

2020年10月17日這道題我們?cè)谥暗目己蠡仡欀刑峁┻^破題思路：
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Economy growth should not be slowed down by concerns about environment.

要點(diǎn)：環(huán)境問題和經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展之間的沖突，題目描述還是比較清晰的。但還是要注意兩者的結(jié)合，避免揪著講環(huán)境問題有多重要，不談經(jīng)濟(jì)。
觀點(diǎn)：disagree
1. 從health的角度
1）環(huán)境問題如果已經(jīng)影響了人們的健康，那么就算是經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的大頭公司head of，也要進(jìn)行一定的管治。
e.g. 二戰(zhàn)末期，英國煤礦資源豐富，是當(dāng)時(shí)主要的經(jīng)濟(jì)來源，然而1952年這一產(chǎn)業(yè)引起了嚴(yán)重的煙霧事件，人們健康深受其害，有關(guān)部門就開戰(zhàn)了調(diào)查并出臺(tái)了一系列相關(guān)限制issue a series of relevant restrictions

2. 從economy的角度
1）economy與environment并不是完全對(duì)立的兩方，其實(shí)可以相結(jié)合，在一定程度上，好的環(huán)境不僅可以促進(jìn)可持續(xù)性發(fā)展，同時(shí)也能帶動(dòng)區(qū)域的旅游業(yè)

3. 讓步：
對(duì)方觀點(diǎn)：agree
對(duì)方前提條件：如果放緩經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的速度，也會(huì)影響國家實(shí)力和人民的收入

反駁：
1）放緩≠停止，人們不會(huì)直接實(shí)業(yè)，只是短期內(nèi)受到一定的影響
2）從長期來看，還是益處多于危害的
 
其實(shí)在2020年9月6日托福線下考試中，獨(dú)立寫作就出了一道環(huán)境類話題的題目。
