古城城墻是否具有防御功能。

閱讀：

1. 城墻不是用來防御的，因?yàn)槌菈υ谀承┓较蛏洗嬖谌笨冢╣ap），這與典型的堡壘結(jié)構(gòu)不符。

2. 城墻有多個(gè)出入口（entrance），這不利于防御敵人的進(jìn)攻。

3. 城墻內(nèi)部無法儲(chǔ)存大量水，如果被圍困時(shí)間過長，防御者將面臨缺水問題。

聽力：

1. 城墻不需要在每個(gè)方向都設(shè)立，因?yàn)槠渥匀坏匦危╪atural topography）如懸崖峭壁已經(jīng)提供了防御，所以在這些地方不需要額外的圍墻。

2. 設(shè)置出入口是合理的，因?yàn)檫@樣可以讓城墻內(nèi)的人更清楚地觀察外部情況，比如監(jiān)視敵人的動(dòng)向。

3. 城墻不需要儲(chǔ)存大量水，因?yàn)樵摰貐^(qū)的干燥環(huán)境（dry environment）意味著敵人不會(huì)長時(shí)間等待，因此攻擊者也不會(huì)進(jìn)行持久戰(zhàn)。

What is the most important thing university administrators should consider when making decisions regarding spending?

Paul:

I believe university administrators should prioritize students' opinions when deciding on spending. After all, students are the main source of the school's income. For instance, if the university wants to upgrade sports facilities but students are more interested in a new library or tech center, it makes sense to let students vote on it. 

Claire:

University administrators should prioritize projects that can generate future revenue. For example, investing in a state-of-the-art research facility or tech incubator could attract more students and partnerships, leading to increased funding and grants. It's essential to consider not just the immediate benefits but also the long-term financial sustainability for the university.

學(xué)會(huì)有很多資金，在考慮這個(gè)分配的時(shí)候，應(yīng)該最主要的考慮因素是什么？

Paul 認(rèn)為不應(yīng)該考慮學(xué)生的意見。

Claire 認(rèn)為應(yīng)該考慮學(xué)校能不能獲得收益。

結(jié)合托福考生的分享，寫作部分一定要表達(dá)清楚個(gè)人觀點(diǎn)或者支持某一個(gè)觀點(diǎn)，同時(shí)針對具體的問題作出明確的回應(yīng)，但是對于學(xué)生來說，想要把個(gè)人觀點(diǎn)表達(dá)清楚，的確也是個(gè)不小的挑戰(zhàn)。
