古城城墻是否具有防御功能。

閱讀：

1. 城墻不是用來防御的，因為城墻在某些方向上存在缺口（gap），這與典型的堡壘結(jié)構(gòu)不符。

2. 城墻有多個出入口（entrance），這不利于防御敵人的進(jìn)攻。

3. 城墻內(nèi)部無法儲存大量水，如果被圍困時間過長，防御者將面臨缺水問題。

聽力：

1. 城墻不需要在每個方向都設(shè)立，因為其自然地形（natural topography）如懸崖峭壁已經(jīng)提供了防御，所以在這些地方不需要額外的圍墻。

2. 設(shè)置出入口是合理的，因為這樣可以讓城墻內(nèi)的人更清楚地觀察外部情況，比如監(jiān)視敵人的動向。

3. 城墻不需要儲存大量水，因為該地區(qū)的干燥環(huán)境（dry environment）意味著敵人不會長時間等待，因此攻擊者也不會進(jìn)行持久戰(zhàn)。

What is the most important thing university administrators should consider when making decisions regarding spending?

Paul:

I believe university administrators should prioritize students' opinions when deciding on spending. After all, students are the main source of the school's income. For instance, if the university wants to upgrade sports facilities but students are more interested in a new library or tech center, it makes sense to let students vote on it. 

Claire:

University administrators should prioritize projects that can generate future revenue. For example, investing in a state-of-the-art research facility or tech incubator could attract more students and partnerships, leading to increased funding and grants. It's essential to consider not just the immediate benefits but also the long-term financial sustainability for the university.

學(xué)會有很多資金，在考慮這個分配的時候，應(yīng)該最主要的考慮因素是什么？

Paul 認(rèn)為不應(yīng)該考慮學(xué)生的意見。

Claire 認(rèn)為應(yīng)該考慮學(xué)校能不能獲得收益。

結(jié)合托福考生的分享，寫作部分一定要表達(dá)清楚個人觀點或者支持某一個觀點，同時針對具體的問題作出明確的回應(yīng)，但是對于學(xué)生來說，想要把個人觀點表達(dá)清楚，的確也是個不小的挑戰(zhàn)。
