2023年12月6日場的托福寫作題確實是難題且是新題。如果說仔細(xì)研究一下出題思路，會發(fā)現(xiàn)其實是整合出來的一道題。也不是完全新，話題是關(guān)于donation捐贈，下面我們一起來回顧一下該場考試的考情回顧吧。

Iron fertilization（鐵肥料）對全球氣候變化的影響。

1. 鐵肥料可能效果不佳。到目前為止，只有很少的實驗表明鐵肥料導(dǎo)致浮游植物吸收大氣中二氧化碳的增加。此外，實驗檢測到的CO2 absorption（二氧化碳吸收量）非常小。這導(dǎo)致許多專家認(rèn)為，全面實施鐵肥料可能同樣效果不佳。

2. Phytoplankton（浮游植物）的快速生長可能導(dǎo)致環(huán)境毒素危險性增加。一些浮游植物產(chǎn)生的毒素在少量情況下相對無害，但當(dāng)數(shù)量足夠大時卻會非常危險。這些毒素會殺死一些魚類，對捕魚業(yè)造成傷害。它們還會導(dǎo)致其他魚類對人類食用產(chǎn)生毒性，使許多人生病。如果實施鐵肥料，可以預(yù)期這種情況會更加頻繁發(fā)生。

3. 向海洋播撒大量鐵等養(yǎng)分可能會打破海洋生態(tài)平衡。我們不知道各種海洋生物將如何應(yīng)對富含鐵的環(huán)境。有些可能會在其中茁壯成長，而其他可能會受到影響。從長遠(yuǎn)來看，鐵肥料可能會改變海洋生態(tài)系統(tǒng)的植物和動物組成；一些物種甚至可能因此滅絕。

聽力：

1. 這些研究并不具有說服力，大多數(shù)實驗只持續(xù)了不到一個月。但植物浮游生物的壽命長達(dá)2至3個月，在它們壽命的最后一個月吸收了大部分二氧化碳。所以在最初的一個月內(nèi)，植物浮游生物可能不是高效的二氧化碳吸收者，但在第二個和第三個月，效率很可能大幅提高。

2. 針對植物浮游生物在特定地區(qū)可能產(chǎn)生環(huán)境毒素的問題，停止在這些地區(qū)使用鐵肥料可以迅速解決。如果停止施肥，植物浮游生物就會缺乏養(yǎng)分，很快就會開始死亡。毒素的產(chǎn)生會迅速下降，不會造成永久性損害。

3. 盡管我們不確定鐵肥料對海洋生態(tài)系統(tǒng)的長期影響，但地球氣候迅速變化的風(fēng)險可能比鐵肥料造成的影響更大。因此，采取減少二氧化碳排放的大舉行動至關(guān)重要，鐵肥料可能是其中之一。

As we have been discussing in class, deciding where to donate money is an important consideration when supporting charitable causes. Some prefer local charities where the impact may be more visible, while others favor international ones tackling issues on a broader scale. With this in mind, when donating money to charity, what factors do you take into account when choosing between local and international organizations? 

Andrew: 

I prefer to give to local charities rather than international ones. Local organizations where I live allow me to witness firsthand the impact my contributions make. The visible difference - even a small amount - motivates me to keep supporting groups creating visible change close to home.

Claire: 

I believe supporting international charities is most impactful. Though local charities do good work, global issues like climate change and poverty affect millions more people. International groups have the scale and resources to drive systematic change on these pressing problems in ways smaller organizations simply can't. Donating to major international charities can thus create widespread, meaningful impact.

立場：支持捐助到國際化慈善組織

1）大組織解決的問題不是大家個人能解決的，必須集合起來一起解決；小組織解決的問題有些個體就能解決，不需要依賴組織

2）大組織解決的問題更棘手更緊迫，對人類生死存亡有重大影響；小組織相對組織的問題重要性和優(yōu)先級不如前者
