試題:
Nowadays, many people are pursuing an advanced degree to stay competitive. Suppose you are a full-time employee with a bachelor's degree and you have two options. Which do you prefer?
A. become a full-time student to get an advanced degree as quickly as possible; and then pursue your career later
B. try to get an advanced degree while still working full-time
如果你已經本科畢業并且已經工作了,你接下來如果還想再提高的話。你是會辭掉工作全職去學習,還是說一邊工作一邊學習,你會怎么選?
獨立寫作范文
In this knowledge-oriented society, top priority has been given to further education due to its significance in individual future growth and development. Under this circumstance, an absolute consensus can hardly be reached whether people should pursue an advanced degree as full-time students or go for further study while engaging in their full-time jobs. For my part, I side with the latter based on following sound reasons.
To begin with, people can be equipped with(擁有) various valuable skills through their work, whichare also extremely effective in(有助于) their further study. It is universally acknowledged that(眾所周知) the ultimate aim of obtaining an advanced degree is to place one person in a more favorable position in the society filled with rat race(激烈競爭) through gaining greater advantages over their peers. However, it is more likely for him or her to be confronted with(面對) demanding situations in the workplace such as heavy workload, group assignments and effective communication with their clients. During this process, not only does he or she grasp the key points of how to cooperate and negotiate with others, but also has a clearer picture of(更清楚了解)expertise to deal with different kinds of hardships and setbacks(挫折和艱難), which can hardly be imparted by teachers at school. Not to mention that(更不用說) they can form a good habit of time management. Undoubtedly, all the wonderful qualities mentioned above will also lay a solid foundation for(打下堅實的基礎) their further study, and then achieve better academic performance.
