Many students starting university must choose a major (main field of study at university), and parents of these students often give them advice about which major to choose. Some parents tell students to choose the major that most interests the students. Other parents tell students that it is best to choose a major that will lead to a job with a high salary, even if that major may not be the one that most interests the students. Which approach do you believe is better and why?

上周六的考題是一道老題，重復了今年4月21日的原題，2016年也曾經考過。

大學生應該選擇更有利于就業，還是選擇他們更感興趣的學習領域？這個話題比較老，也是父母和孩子選擇大學時專業一直思考的問題，不管哪一方，相信同學們都會說出自己的道理。
以“選擇感興趣的專業”為立場，嘗試展開分析：
觀點1：如今的經濟大環境充分給予各行各業不同的機會，任何領域，包括科技，工程等所謂的熱門學科，只有學的精專才有良好的就業前景。
觀點2：“興趣是最好的老師”，大學生選擇自己感興趣的專業，更愿意積極主動去鉆研，哪怕面對挫折和困難時也會迎難而上。
觀點3：最好將自身興趣與就業前景好的學習領域相結合，不僅滿足市場職業需求，而且深入挖掘了自身潛力，是一種很好的選擇。

Reason 1: Today’s economic environment fully provides different opportunities for people in all walks of life. In the so-called popular fields,like science,engineering,technology,only those who grasp the essence of professionals can they have better job prospects.
Reason 2: As the saying goes， “Interest is the best teacher”. Faced with the area they like, college students are more willing to study hard and carry on when they encounter obstacles and challenges.
Reason 3: It’s definitely a better choice for students to combine self interest and popular subjects, which not only meets the demand of occupation market but help them explore their unknown potential as much as possible.

2、Speaking

lmagine that someone has donated land to your community.Some people in thecommunity want to use the land to create a garden where they can grow food orflowers. Others want the land to be used for a children’s playground. Which do youthink is better? Explain why.

Task1是關于你的社區收到了一大筆捐贈，你覺得這筆錢應該用來建一個兒童操場還是社區花園？
I prefer it to be a children‘s playground for two reasons. Firstly，it s beneficial for their physical health. When children are climbing or jumping, they can stretch their body and build strength. And they are less likely to suffer from diseases. Plus, it s good for their mental health because they can release the stress from those extra-curriculum classes and make some new friends there.
