It is obvious that Americaplayed a leading role in the percentage of total health spending (40%), followed by Germany and France with the former being moderately higher than the latter (35% and 30%) and eventually stood Italy and Japan in a decreasing order (25% and 20%).

When it comes to the specific distribution in the public and private spending, the USA was the only country whose private input slightly went beyond public expenditure (20% and 17%). However, the situation of the other countries witnessed an opposite pattern. To illustrate, the gap between public and private spending demonstrated the most obvious (10% and 5%), Germany and France being close behind whose gap maintained the same (18%&15% and15&12%) and the last place was allocated to Italy (10% and 8%).
