寫作思路及范文：

As technology is advancing by leaps and bounds(日新月異), robots have gradually found their own way into every corner of people’s daily life. Under this circumstance, an absolute consensus can hardly be reached whether this phenomenon is a blessing or a curse（是福是禍）. I will make an objective analysis of this argument in my following essay.

Some people harbor the belief that the popularity of robots does a great job in（有助于） facilitating people’s work and life. To be specific, robots can spare（讓—從---中解放出來） employees boring and monotonous work so that they candedicate precious time and energy to（致力于） more significant and challenging tasks. In addition, robots can take the place of humans to engage in some dangerous work such as space exploration and disaster rescue, which will diminish the loss of life to the least extent. 

However, others maintain that the sweeping trend（風靡的趨勢） of robots poses a potential threat to（對—構成潛在的威脅） social progress. For one thing, their extensive application in work will give rise to（導致） some degree of unemployment, which will raise fiscal burden of the government undoubtedly. For another, humans are afraid that robots will make independent decisions and act on their own will someday. Subsequent horrible consequences have been depicted in many Hollywood blocks(好萊塢大片), which can be called the catastrophe completely.

From my own perspective, I side with the stance of the former to a larger extent, believing that the popularity of robots will impose more positive influences on the future of mankind. To illustrate, with the advent of aging society, labor shortage has been a thorny problem many countrieshave no alternative but to（不得不） be confronted with. In this case, the wide use of robots in work is extremely effective in（有助于） relieving such pressure to some degree. Meanwhile, I believe firmly that human intelligence is smart enough to monitor and guide the development of robots, and then lead them on the right track(引上正軌).
