The table and graph indicate the starting salary which graduates earned, measured in dollars per year and the proportion which graduates engaging in full-time work represented in Australia during the eight years from 2004.

When it comes to the starting salary, the figure of all the graduates was blessed with a stable increase over the whole period (40000 to 53000), and meanwhile the situation of the graduates majoring in math climbed moderately in the first four years, and then restored itself partially during the remaining time (45000 to 54000 to 50000). It is worth mentioning that math graduates earned higher salary compared with the general trend initially, but showed slightly lower in the end.

Turning to the rate of graduates in full-time work, more math graduates were employed than all the graduates except their numbers maintaining the same in 2008. To be specific, the former went ups and downs gently with extremely similar starting and finishing point at roughly 80%. In addition, the latter started the year of 2004 in a minimally upward movement from 78% to 80% until 2006, followed by a slow decline to 60% over the last year.
