Describe a piece of news that local people are interested in.You should say:
What it was about
When and where you saw/heard the news
who was involved
And explain why people were interested in it
話題分析
這是一道事物類的舊題，要講的是本地人感興趣的新聞，雖然劃分到事物類當中，但是答題邏輯也可以按照經歷類（時間、地點、人物、感悟）來布局。最新的爆炸新聞是真的賊多，但是也不建議大家都趕著大新聞事件去寫，很容易撞主題，而且本題的出題目的也是希望落腳在接地氣的新聞上。
那在選題的時候，主要注意的關鍵詞是“local people”和“interested in”，新聞稍微“舊”一點沒關系，但是要體現出本地人感興趣的特點。
第一小問“What it was about”這則新聞內容是什么
我們先想一下有些什么新聞：財經新聞、科技新聞、體育新聞、娛樂新聞、政策新聞、民生新聞、災難性新聞。
描述一則新聞，里面可以包含什么時間、哪個主體、發布的什么新聞內容。
第二小問“When and where you saw/heard the news”你是什么時候在哪里看到的這則新聞
上一個小問講到過新聞發布的時間，這個小問可以具體描述你看到新聞時候的途徑和狀態。途徑比如你是看電視時候看到的、刷微博/朋友圈/公眾號時候看到的、還是聽別人說的新聞。狀態比如是早上在上班的地鐵里，還是晚上吃完飯在家里沙發上，或是坐在教室里刷手機的時候，總之越有畫面感就越真實。
第三小問“who was involved “這條新聞涉及到的人是誰
這里需要詳細展開新聞的涉及到的個人/群體，可以從他（們）的身份、做了什么行為、產生了什么結果、有什么品質出發
第四小問“explain how you felt about this news”你對此有什么感受
大家感興趣的點大概率也就是這些：和自己的利益切身相關（財經新聞、民生新聞、政策新聞、災難性新聞）、獵奇八卦（娛樂新聞、民生新聞）、惋惜心痛/憤怒（娛樂新聞、民生新聞、災難性新聞）、感動自豪（科技新聞、體育新聞）
In a fine morning a few weeks ago, I turned on the TV, like any other usual day, this news was aired on one of our local TV channels and it really caught my eyes.
The news was related to the tough life of an old man, in his early 70’s, who earns his living by selling plastic bottles in Shanghai. The news also mentioned that he remains unmarried all his life and he has no children to look after him. Ironically enough though, he never seeks any help from anybody to survive. Of course, a lot of people had tried to help him, but he refused to accept their help, apparently because he thought it was a disgrace to accept other peoples’ help and that he was very happy living like that for over the last 30 years. What moved me most was that it is he who has helped many helpless and poor people with the very insignificant amount of money that he earns by selling plastic bottles.
As for why people were interested in this piece of news. Well, first of all, his steel-strong determination and the spirit of never giving up deeply inspired us, and I have realized that those people who we perceive as worthless because of their purposeless life seem to have a greater sense of self-respect. On top of that, the news also taught people that it doesn’t really take much money to heal and help others, but it is the heart of a person, which is needed the most.
